WE ARE SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS FOR ANY STAY LESS THAN 30 DAYS.
Casa Luna is located a few steps from the center of The City but amazingly tucked away for privacy and quiet. There are so few places for visitors to stay in our neighborhood, and yet it’s so sought out by visitors from all over the world who are touched and inspired by the community and diversity of this place; a community and an embrace that is often lacking in their own neighborhoods and day-to-day lives. Visitors dream of staying and living a few moments in this very special place, first hand. A downtown chain hotel is not the reason they chose to visit our City; they come to experience, and in turn celebrate, this amazing place.
I’ve lived here, almost always at Casa Luna, for 25 years. If you stay with us, we give you the history and share why this place is so special and why it deserves to be shared with the world. You can visit us for a brief time but you will be our neighbor forever.
Casa Luna proudly shares a portion of our rental income in a monthly ongoing donation to Project Openhouse, providing local LGBT seniors access to affordable housing.
Attention to detail is everywhere. Luxurious Egyptian cotton linens, goose-down comforters, premium firm memory foam mattresses, tasteful artwork, hand-blown Italian glass lighting fixtures, bathrooms with floor-to-ceiling marble tile, full soaking tubs with Jacuzzi jets, separate walk-in showers and European faucets and fixtures are just some of the touches that offer you both beauty and function.
All the basics are covered and complimentary as well. High-speed (30mbps) internet with secure wireless, dedicated private phone with answering machine and unlimited calling, premium satellite DIRECTV with movie channels, LED flat screen TV, and Bluray player. A clothes washer and dryer are free to use and we even supply eco-friendly detergent.
Even though you will be staying on a quiet street, you’ll be just a half a block from Market Street, the palm-tree lined main artery of San Francisco. Historic street cars run above ground and efficient subway lines run below. You will be one block away from the F line, a street car that takes you directly to Fisherman’s Wharf. Also one block away is a high-speed subway that will get your anywhere in the city within minutes. With over 300 restaurants within one mile of the property, you can be assured of a feast for all the senses with unique boutique shops, theaters and nightclubs as well as the everyday services you use at home; like world class yoga and fitness centers, independent book stores, big city parks, tennis courts and gourmet grocery stores. For solitude just retreat to the gorgeous landscaped garden in the rear with water features and a slate patio and deck; it’s the perfect place to have a glass of wine after a long day of sight-seeing.
This home is a green property. We never use any harsh chemicals or sprays and our service cleans immaculately with all-natural products. We encourage and make it easy to recycle if you wish and our electricity comes from renewable suppliers. We feature energy-efficient appliances and all-natural fabrics in all our linens; like our Organic Egyptian Cotton 400 thread count sheets! Our gardens are drip-irrigated for low water usage and we use no pesticides or herbicides. We offer organic teas and gourmet fair trade coffee, and natural soaps and toiletries are stocked from EO Organics.
Each of our apartments are designed and outfitted to be homes we would love to live in. We’ve made a home for you in San Francisco.
